MY REVIEW
This is an edge-of-your-seat story with a handful of twists and turns, and it really keeps you reading! I read it in about two sittings and really can't wait for more from the series. Phillips always does a phenomenal job of keeping readers engaged and excited, and Firestorm is no different. There are a lot of thought-provoking themes about life, how interconnected we can be in our relationships without realizing it (and how integral we become), and some very tough questions about what happens when a poor diagnosis is received. I appreciated how Phillips and Warren handle those topics with grace and dignity, and the heavier topics were balanced quite nicely. The story really does keep you engaged right down to the last minute, wondering how everything will get resolved, and that's what I love to see in a book. If you're looking for a fast-paced series, this is it--and Firestorm will absolutely deliver!
